Troop 370 Bike Riders - Participation Confirms Requested (Last High Adventure Trip in 2010)
Please confirm your commitment to participate in this high adventure bike ride since we need a final count. Final permission sign-up forms with fees will be due September 27th. Dependent on the ultimate number of participants, the current estimated cost is $55 per individual - including costs of food, trail fees, camping fees & gas (refunds or overages will be later provided as needed).
We will be scheduling 1 or 2 advance LRT Trail (Eden Prairie) bike rides in September to assess "equipment" & abilities. Dependent on group dynamics, we can structure rides accordingly and may stage two bike groups for different daily ride durations. We will have an October 4th planning meeting with participants to determine routes and bike groups. Last, all participants should have a completed new Medical Health Form in our file (current health forms are valid for 12 months).
Whether you are a serious or recreational rider, don't miss this fun bike riding activity. Elroy Sparta is one of the oldest bike trails in the country and one of the best. All registered Troop 370 Adults & Scouts who are at least 13 years of age are welcome to participate. If you are available for provide SAG support (driver support to pick up bikers in event of mechanical or other problems) or have any questions, please respond.
