Jeremy's Eagle Project involved holding an educational seminar about invasive plant species and then organizing and executing the eradication of invasive Buckthorn in the woodlot of his church, Pax Christi. Over a four month period, more than 200 hours were expended and hundreds of dollars raised for this effort. In the end, the church was presented with its own Weed Wrench to be used in future buckthorn pulling. Through this project, Jeremy learned much about himself and his fellow scouts, the adult world, and the environment - all while being able to demonstrate his Duty to God and his community
