1.      Treasurer’s Report.  Total assets $19,031.54.  Scout account total $6,788.61. Overall balance $12,242.93. 

2.      Quartermaster’s Report – Craig Hamilton had no report.  Mike Link indicated that he had a 3 burner Coleman stove with no fuel tank and requested assistance in obtaining the parts to repair the stove.

3.      Camping Update – June Campout forms are due today, however the forms will be accepted next week.  The activity will be canoeing on the St. Croix River.  All scouts should bring their own life jackets for the campout. 

4.      High Adventure Update – The crew is currently at Isle Royale.  The Mountaineering crew is full.  2009 Northern Tier reservations are being accepted.  We have reserved two crews and are requesting scouts provide a down payment of $40.  The trips are scheduled for June 21, 2009 through July 1, 2009 and all scouts age 13 or older may attend.  The 2009 Appalachian Trail trip has 2 open spots.  10 people have already committed to attending this High Adventure Trip.

Scoutmaster Report.  Don Richard reported that the May campout at Voyager Bay was a success.  We received a thank you from Pack 215 for our participation in their May campout.  Ian Sullivan completed his Eagle Board of Review.  Matt Norgren completed all of his requirements for Eagle and Ben Gloege has completed his Eagle Project. 

The June campout is schedule for St. Croix State Park.  We have 15 people registered for this campout.  We will be using the group site.  Don will reserve canoes and the scouts should plan trail food for Sat. lunch. 

Alex Patow will be attending Grey Wolf in June and Drew Hermes is attending Nail at Philmont in July. 

The troop has been asked to provide volunteers for the July 15th Eden Prairie Community Council meeting.  Shari Williams will organize this opportunity for our troop.

The church has provided the troop with storage options.  Don and other adults in the troop will review the option of installing a shed in the “courtyard.”  Details will follow.

5.      Advancement and Merit Badges.  Caroline was completing Board Reviews.  All Blue Cards and Board of Reviews are due next week in preparation for the June 23 Court of Honor.  Kris Cutler provided the new Mothers with their Mothers Badge. 

6.      Records – No Report.

7.      Service Projects – Next service opportunity (following the flag ceremony on July 15) will be Sept. 13 for the Eden Prairie Veterans Memorial Fun Run.  Details to be provided closer to the event.

8.      Summer Camp – Nathan reported that there was a Summer Camp Meeting last week. 

There will most likely be two Eagle Projects completed at this year’s summer camp. 

Trays need to be washed.  If you can assist with this project, please pick up some trays following the June Court of Honor and ensure that they are returned prior to summer camp.  Physicals are due for all adults over 40 (or under 40 if you have not yet completed a Physical) and any new scouts who do not have a physical on file. 

Please provide Joleen or Margie with any special food requirements for Summer Camp ASAP.  They are now cooking the food for camp. 

The Tour permit is complete.  All adults attending Summer Camp are required to complete Youth Protection Training.  If you have attended the training in the past, you can update your training by going to www.northernstarcouncilbsa.org.  Please use the ID# from your scout registration card when you complete the training.  Additionally, send Jamie an email confirming your completion of the training.  If you have not completed the training in the past, please plan on attending the training on July14 at 8 p.m. (following the Parent Meeting) at Pax Christi given by Jamie Dillon. 

9.       Eagle Update – Ben Gloege had 10 people assisting with his Eagle Project and it was completed in approx. 2 hours.  He has 3 badges left to complete and the Eagle Project write up.

10.  Swim Qualifications – Jamie will again give swim qualifications on Wednesday, June 11 at 7 p.m. at Oak Point Pool.

11.  June Court of Honor - We will be serving Brownie Sundaes, so please bring brownies or ice cream topping.
