Troop 370 has created a one of a kind fast track program designed to help new boy Scouts transition from the Cub Scout Pack to our Troop. After joining troop 370, first year scouts are pulled out of the regular Monday night meetings to work on the rank requirements for Tenderfoot, Second Class, and First Class. Our Fast Track Program is designed not to leave any scout behind. Fast Track is led by Adult Leaders as well as Scouts that have participated in the Fast Track Program themselves.

Every Scout attending Voyager Bay for the first time will also continue to work on the fast track program. This program is designed to help our newer scouts advance rapidly through the ranks of Tenderfoot, Second Class, and First Class. This program also allows our older scouts an opportunity to demonstrate leadership while instructing younger scouts under the supervision of adult ‘Fast Track’ leaders. Participants in this program will meet together for all four sessions each day. The first two sessions will focus on the various requirements for rank advancement. By the end of this week long program each participant should be well on their way to completing both of these ranks. The two afternoon sessions will be spent working on the First Aid and Swimming Merit Badges. Both of these merit badges are Eagle required and are appropriate for this age group.
