Troop 370 Parent Meeting Minutes

 

  1. PLC Report. Eric C, SPL. Election night tonight; campout this weekend; wreath p/u on November 19.

  2. SM Report – Joe S, SM. Cleaning up requirements for younger Scouts this weekend – will need more adults.

  3. Additions to Agenda – none

  4. Team Report

    1. Activities.

      1. Fred C Anderson – November 11 – 13.  Orienteering and requirement clean-up.

      2. Wreath pick-up (19 November) and church sales. FYI, gross sales this year so far (w/o church sales) at $16,000; significantly better than last year’s $9,000.

      3. Holiday Boutique – December 3. Scount service project to bring items in and to help folks clear out.

      4.  Ice Fishing – December 10. If weather permits.

      5. COH – December 18. A Sunday.

      6.  Wild River – January – might set up Saturday morning to avoid having to set up in dark on Friday night.

      7. Klondike – February 10-12 – Stearns

      8. Ajawah – March 10-12

    1. Quartermaster – Chris J – nothing to report.

    2. Committee Positions 2017 – let Don know if interested in taking on a new role.

    3. Scoutbook Transition – no report

    4. Training report / recharter: some folks need to update YPO & other training. Troop Committee e-Learing challenge – all committee members should take.

    5. Arrow of Light Patrol – 2016 –

    6. Advancement - Paul S. transitioning to Drew. Fast Track update – almost done. Eagle status – Walter T, Erik J, Luke J progressing. Need to work on Jackson P and Andrew C.

    1. Service – Service hours for Holiday Boutique available. Eagle Scout projects also available.

    2. Finance

      1. Roughtly $6300 in Scout accounts; roughly $2100 in Trrop account.

      2. Fund raising. Wreath p/u; church sales, holiday boutique.

    3. Friends of Scouting – to be handed out at 18 Dec COH.

    1. Cub Scouts. Looking for Drew’s replacement.

    2. Venture Crew.

    3. Order of the Arrow. Elections in January.
