Yesterday when I woke up I thought it was Wednesday and was disappointed we were already half way through camp. I was happy to realize it was only Tuesday. Today it really is passed half way through camp. I'm still processing how I feel about that. It has really been a wonderful week so far. Everyone is in good spirits and the positive vibes around camp are great. It is fun watching the boys having so much fun. The weather has been perfect. But....the bug bites are getting to me. Being wet at the beach just draws the deer flies and the horse flies. Some cortizone will help as soon as I can find my tube.
I heard mention that the temp was 52 at wake up time this morning. I love cold sleeping weather. I had plenty of warmth, I hope the rest did too. I heard the alumni (NODEATH) tent was quite cold with the breeze coming off the beach. Sorry guys, I'm happy to hear the breeze is coming off the beach, that keeps the bugs blown AWAY from the beach and not toward.
Breakfast was homemade donuts with a glaze, or cinnamon twists, and oatmeal. I think everyone left happy.
Ok I'll try to attach a start to my wildflower collection (sorry not boy pictures). Some aren't especially clear - iPhone. But some are quite nice. I don't know what more than three are called. I'll be on the lookout for more, or try to get the blurry ones better.
